Here we are, or here I am

seven months and 12 days in the GTA

life is hectic just trying to keep up with work and the basics
I have a little bit of a social life with my roommate's friends and Kathlene and a couple other people
I don't really do a great job of keeping in touch with people these days unfortunately

I've been living near Parkside and Keele station by high park and Roncelvalles for the last 4 months.
It is a really nice area of town. Unfortunately I will be moving soon. Fucking landlords are idiots so it is time to move on.
Moving is such a pain in the ass.
I'm going to be moving to Mississauga near work. I'm not sure how long it will take me to go completely batty living there.
I really like my work even though there is too much to do there. I just really hate the location.
I wish that it was down town so that I could live right down town and walk to work or maybe take 10-15 minutes of TTC instead of driving.
having a car in this city is really nice, but not required by any means
I could just as easily rent once of twice a month and do quite well if it weren't for the god damn place I work
stupid business park with crappy bus service
It is going to take years before the GTA transit commision fixes any of those problems

years that I don't really intend to be here for
it is a nice city, but I do intent to move in the next 2 years
there may be opportunity to move within my company to another office like Chicago or Seattle
I think that I would preffer Seattle much over Chicago
I'd really like to visit Chicago, but I don't feel drawn to live there at all
they have offices world wide though so there could be opportunities anywhere

hollidays are coming up quick
a merry merry to everyone
I am boycotting xmas though
just cuz I am morally apposed to the commercialization of something that is supposed to be about something meaningful
... even though I think that most of that meaning is gone and missing and lies
there is still an important ellement of celebrating family and friends though
...but I'm even boycotting a lot of that because I am going to Cuba for two weeks with my friend Jordan
we are going to have a week of sun and drinks and then a week with his family, mostly around Havanah

I'm going to run off and study some more and try to get some stuff done
there is more going on in my life than that, but I guess some of it seems more private than a public forum like this needs to know

lots of love to all my friends

and lots of love to everyone else, even the people who I'll never see eye to eye with

- aaron

Just a hello.

Someone keeps encouraging me to join this so keep in touch with my friends, so here I am.
Thank you for the encouragement and sorry that it took so long. The last 4 months have been a busy roller coaster for me in many ways.

For those who don't know me or where I have been the last 4 month. I lived in Ottawa Ontario for about 9 years before finding a decent IT job in Toronto the spring. So I got off of my comfortable butt, left my sort of crappy IT job, all my most wonderful close friends, and the girl I was dating and moved away. A big step for me, but something I wanted to do for personal growth. I may decide to make an even bigger move in a few years. There is so much that I would like to see in our world.

I'll follow up with more boring facts later. Then some time maybe I'll find some meaningful stuff to say too.

To all my friends in O-town and elsewhere who may read this, I miss you tons and
